2022 október 29-én a Vakok Gyermekotthonában voltunk 35 fő önkéntessel, 
ahol elsődleges feladataink a belső kert őszi nagytakarítása és a főbejárat előtti rézsűn található növényzet metszése és a terület beültetése volt.
A belső kertben sok idős fa található, amelyről folyamatosan hullik ilyenkor a sárguló levél. Az ExxonMobil Magyarország és a BME ISGS Gimnázium diákjai az egész kertben összeszedték a letaposott levélszemetet és még a sövényeket is megmetszették. Az épület körül található járdát felsöpörték. Az iskolával folytatott utólagos beszélgetésünkből megtudtuk, hogy nagyon nagy segítség volt ez a számukra, mert sokkal könnyebb most a karbantartó részlegnek a frissen hulló levelek összegyűjtése.
A belső kertben található egy pergola is, amely be volt nőve trombitafolyondárral. A pergola fa szerkezetű, amely felújításra (csiszolás és festés) szorul. A felújító munka előkészítő munkálatait a Tata Consultancy Services Magyarországi fiókjának dolgozói végezték el. A pergola tetején egyensúlyozva vágták le a vastagra nőtt hajtásokat és végezetül az egész pergolát megszabadították a sűrűn rátekeredett növényzettől. Így a fa szerkezet tavaszi festésének nincs már akadálya!
A főbejárat felőli rézsű rendberakását a Villámfordítás Fordítóiroda és a Tata Consultancy Services önkénteseinek köszönhetjük! Az Ajtósi Dürer sor nagy és szmogos forgalmát jól bíró babérmeggyeket ültettek ide, amely növényeket a Villámfordítás Fordítóiroda és alapítványunk vásárolta a Vakok Gyermekotthonának ajándékba. Ezen a területen önkénteseink megküzdöttek az elburjánzó borostyánnal, lenyírták a füvet és megmetszették a terület egy részét takaró madárbirs töveket is. 
Önkénteseink ebédként az alapítvány által biztosított zsíros és lekváros kenyeret fogyasztották. A Vakok Gyermekotthona a házi sütödéjükben készült pogácsával kedveskedtek az ott dolgozóknak. Több önkéntes is nagy örömmel kóstolta meg a házigazdák ajándékát és kérték, hogy adjuk át köszönetüket!

On October 29, 2022, we were at the Children’s Home for the Blind with 35 volunteers, where our primary tasks were the autumn clean-up of the interior garden and the pruning and planting of the area in front of the main entrance.
The inner garden has many mature trees, and yellowing leaves are constantly falling at this time of year. Students of BME ISGS High School and the volunteers of ExxonMobil Hungary collected the trampled leaves from all over the garden and even pruned the hedges. The pavement around the building was swept up. In our follow-up conversation with the school, we learned that this was a great help to them, as it is now much easier for the maintenance department to collect the freshly fallen leaves.
There is also a pergola in the inner garden, which was planted with trumpet ferns. The pergola has a wooden structure which needs renovation (sanding and painting). The preparatory works for the renovation work were carried out by the Tata Consultancy Services Hungary branch. They balanced on the top of the pergola to cut off the overgrown shoots and finally cleared the whole pergola of the thickly overgrown vegetation. Now the wooden structure can be painted in the spring!
Thanks to the volunteers of the VILLAM Language Services and Tata Consultancy Services for the clean-up of the area in fron of the main entrance! Laurels, which are able to withstand the heavy and smoggy traffic of Ajtósi Dürer sor, were planted here and were purchased by VILLAM Language Services and our Foundation as a gift to the Children’s Home for the Blind. In this area, our volunteers have tackled the overgrown ivy, mowed the grass and pruned the bird quince thorns that cover part of the area.
Our volunteers had a lunch of bread and jam provided by the Foundation. The Children’s Home for the Blind treated our staff with pastries made in their home bakery. Several volunteers were delighted to taste the hosts’ gift and asked us to pass on their thanks!
