I hope this letter finds you well. We are writing this letter to you because the AmCham Foundation has launched a new campaign on the Adjukössze charity portal and we would like to ask for your support.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, most schools have switched to full or partial distance learning, for which laptops and tablets are considered essential. While in most households it is not a problem, children living in foster homes do not have sufficient technical tools, which puts them in an even more disadvantaged situation.
One of the fundamental rights of children is to receive an adequate level of education, although this cannot be achieved due to a significant lack of resources which makes it difficult to these children to keep up with their peers.
Now the AmCham Foundation is raising money to give laptops and tablets to children who are living in foster homes, to enable them to take part in distance education. If you feel the cause close to your heart, you can easily donate at the Adjukössze charity portal.
For many people, actions and experiences mean more than material presents. This Christmas, if you would like to gift your beloved ones with the act of giving by supporting a charity on their behalf, all you have to do is write to the Foundation an e-mail at info@amchamfoundation and we will provide you a Certificate of Donation, which will be sent to you electronically within a day or two.
